Doug West
Head Counselor and Clinical Supervisor, Advanced NeurOptimal® Trainer
Doug has been dedicated to the field of mental health since 1993, with particular emphasis on working with children and families. Doug pairs clinical counselling with the power of NeurOptimal® neurofeedback in addressing self regulation challenges for neurodiverse children and adults.
His extensive experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other neurodiverse challenges has seen amazing transformative results.
For seven years, Doug was Director of Parent Driven Autism Services for SOS Children’s Village BC. There, he pioneered the first fully accredited (CARF) Neurofeedback program in British Columbia.
Dan Baljak
Registered Clinical Counsellor, Certified NeurOptimal® Trainer
Dan has sixteen years as a special education teacher, and two years as a school district counselor working with children and youth, including those with a variety of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions. Dan's deep understanding of neurodiverse individuals allows him to support clients in a meaningful and effective way, helping them build resilience and thrive in their personal and academic lives.
Shana Harrison
Certified NeurOptimal® Trainer
Shana is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with over eight years of experience supporting neurodivergent youth and young adults. Her graduate research explored masking and mental health in autistic women.
As an autistic clinician, Shana offers a space where clients can show up authentically — without pressure to mask or perform. She supports those navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity development, and life transitions.
Her approach integrates Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and DBT skills to build emotional regulation, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
